Fantasy Football: TE Rankings
SeaTown Sports previews all the position groups to get you ready for Fantasy Football season
The tight end position is traditionally top heavy with Travis Kelce leading the way. Will you ride with Kelce again, especially with T-Swift in his life? Or will you look for a sleeper among the young up and comers?
Tier 1
Sam LaPorta, Lions
Travis Kelce, Chiefs
These are the two guys that I am reaching for in early rounds. LaPorta was a league winner last year and is worth a 2nd round pick at minimum.
Tier 2
Trey McBride, Cardinals
Mark Andrews, Ravens
George Kittle, 49ers
Dalton Kincaid, Bills
After this tier, TEs really drop off. Make it a priority to grab one of these four or you will be throwing darts blindfolded.
Tier 3
Kyle Pitts, Falcons
Jake Ferguson, Cowboys
Evan Engram, Jaguars
Could one of these players be a top 5 tight end? Sure. Could all of them be outside the top 12? Yep.
Tier 4
Brock Bowers, Raiders
Brock Bowers gets his own tier after what Sam LaPorta did as a rookie last year. I would probably draft him above the tier 3 guys and just drop him if he isn’t good.
Tier 5
David Njoku, Browns
Dallas Goedert, Eagles
TJ Hockenson, Vikings
There are injury concerns with each of these players, but if healthy can be top 5. Especially Hockenson. Although Sam Darnold isn’t too thrilling.
Tier 6
Pat Freiermuth, Steelers
Dalton Schultz, Texans
Cole Kmet, Bears
Tyler Conklin, Jets
Just pay your entry fee and give up.
