Week of February 24 - March 2: Two pivotal contests end the regular season for the Dawgs
Overall Record: 16-12
Big 10 Record: 7-9
Net Ranking: 44
Last Week’s Recap
The Huskies began the week by pouncing on an inferior opponent as Rutgers made the journey from east to west. Washington dominated the Scarlet Knights in every category as junior Elle Ladine poured in 28 points while grad Dalayah Daniels added 21 points and nine rebounds herself. The 83-65 victory clinched a spot in the Big 10 tournament for the Dawgs.
Washington continued their winning ways with a blowout win at Nebraska over the weekend. Ladine was again fantastic with 28 points while Daniels continued her dominant play with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Hannah Stines has emerged as the Huskies most important role player as she scored six points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists.
Player of the Week
Wait For It Seattle podcast guest Elle Ladine is back as Player of the Week. In two games this week, the junior guard averaged 28 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per contest. That is ridiculously good.
Stat of the Week
Elle Ladine became the 30th player in Washington history to reach the 1000 point mark in her career.
